While running errands the other day, I stopped into Starbucks to grab a bite to eat. I snagged a seat at the counter to enjoy a salad and some tea. I was taking in the true art-form of making coffee and observing the fluidity of the skilled barista.
I took a particularly inspiring yoga class this morning with a teacher that was very creative. The class turned us around and introduced new transitions so that we could really let go of our normal patterns.
Two years ago I trained for the Brooklyn Half Marathon. I was so excited with each passing mile and felt accomplished every week. That was until 7 miles where I injured myself. I was in such intense pain that it hurt to walk, sit, and work let alone run.
